Project Manager

Job Overview

Johnson Restoration Services needs a Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential roofing and restoration projects from start to finish. You'll coordinate & schedule crews, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction. We're seeking an organized leader with construction experience to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Position Details

  • Location: Omaha, Nebraska
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: General Manager
  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Plan and manage roofing, mitigation, and restoration projects.
  • Insurance Claims: Draft & send supplements to insurers, follow up for insurance approvals.
  • Team Coordination: Schedule crews, assign tasks, and ensure quality work.
  • Budget Management: Track costs, order materials, and stay within budget.
  • Client Communication: Update clients on progress and address concerns.
  • Safety: Enforce safety standards on job sites.
  • Reporting: Document project milestones and report to management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: 3+ years in project management, ideally in roofing or restoration.
  • Experience: Experience drafting scopes in Xactimate preferred, but will train the right candidate.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • License: Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

Ability to visit job sites, climb and descend ladders and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., tools or materials).
